    Replacement Parts – FAQs

    How do I order my replacement lenses/temples?

    1. Complete and submit the enquiry form.
    2. A member of the team will answer your parts enquiry by email.
    3. A payment invoice will be sent by email to purchase your replacements.
    4. The customer will need to send us their frame for fitting (ignore if fitting parts yourself) to the following address;

    5. The replacement parts will be dispatched or fitted to your frame as soon as they arrive.

    Where do I look to find my frame models information?

    All of the model information needed to complete your parts enquiry can be found on the inside of the frames temple. The below example is for Ray-Ban frames but other brands will be similar.

    Are the replacement lenses you supply genuine?

    NuShades is a certified reseller of Ray-Ban sunglasses. All of the replacement lenses are 100% genuine, come with a certificate of authenticity and include all etchings and engravings.

    How long will it take to receive my replacement lenses?

    Once ordered, replacement parts will take approximately 7-14 working days to arrive at our warehouse. If you are fitting the lenses yourself then they will be dispatched to your given address the next working day after they arrive to us. If you require us to fit the lenses then your frame will be shipped after 2 working days from us receiving delivery of the lenses.

    Please note. Fitting by NuShades can only be carried out once we have your frame in-hand and a signed disclaimer. In some circumstances parts make take longer to arrive because of stock shortages.

    How much do you charge for delivery?

    We use Royal Mail for our delivery services. Delivery for replacement parts will be charged at £5.95 and sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

    How will I fit my replacement lenses/temples?

    • Allow one of our experienced team members to fit the parts free of charge

    Send your frame to the address below after completing the purchase for your replacement parts via our email payment link.

    Please note. Fitting by NuShades is carried out entirely at the customers own risk.

    We will then send an email notifying you that your replacement parts have been fitted and are out for delivery.

    • You can also take the replacement parts to your local optician to fit

    Please note. Your optician may charge a fitting fee. Hinge screws may be an additional cost to fitting as they are required to attach new temples.

    • You want to fit the replacement parts yourself

    You may need specific tools to replace the lenses or temples if the frame is metal, semi-rimless or rimless. The frame may need to be heated in order for the lenses to be removed, be extremely careful when replacing the lenses as they may scratch or damage the frame.

    What if replacement lenses are not available for my frame?

    There may be alternative options available, i.e. a different lens colour or polarised options.

    If official lenses are unavailable for your model we can alternatively replace these with a pair of industry standard lenses. Please be aware that these will not include the Ray-Ban etched and engraved logos. If you are notified that original replacement lenses are unavailable for your frame, please let us know if you’d like to try our industry standard lenses instead.

    Please note. Colours of tinted or polarised lenses may differ from that of official Ray-Ban models. We also require your frame in order for these lenses to be glazed and fitted.

    What are polarised lenses?

    Polarised lenses block intense reflected light from flat surfaces that would normally enter your eyes, i.e. water or wet road surfaces.

    I have ordered the wrong lenses/temples can I return them?

    All lenses and temples are custom items placed direct with Ray-Ban and once ordered are non-returnable. Please make sure to enter the correct model, size and colour code when submitting your parts enquiry.

    How do I pay for my replacement lenses or temples?

    An invoice with a payment link will be sent by email for you to purchase your replacement parts online.

    Replacement parts terms and conditions

    • NuShades reserves the right to refuse fitting replacement parts due to the condition of the frame.
    • Once replacement part orders have been placed customers will be unable to cancel or request a full refund. Payment needs to be made before parts are ordered and NuShades will need the customers frame in-hand before fitting begins.
    • Ray-Ban and alternative industry standard tinted and polarised replacement lenses are non-prescription only.
    • Alternative standard tinted and polarised replacement lenses will not include branded etchings and logos.
